FAKE + SPN
You manga people on the f-list - did any of you ever read FAKE? You know, the one about Ryo and Dee, the two cops that ran around and did cop-like things and were pretty and witty and gay? I adored that series in high school, and I just read the first three chapters of the second season today and IT'S STILL AWESOME.

You can download the first two chapters and the extras here, and the third chapter here. Dee's story is pure awesomeness, and Ryo's story is disturbing and sweet and angsty just like him, hahaha.

I'm still stoked that there IS a second season. I heard about it a few months ago, but you know... the thrill hasn't worn off yet. \o/

Anyway. Is there a FAKE fandom on LJ?! I can't find a nice semi-active community. D: WOE.

Twenty-three-and-a-half hours until the Supernatural finale. GET READY TO WEEP, GUYS. Our boy is hellbound.

I know what you mean. I kind of wish I hadn't started reading this. There are only three chapters out so far and it's been like, MONTHS OMG. I'll just be over here going crazy.

It's worth the wait. Dee and Ryo's relationship is perfectly solid so there's no OMG DOES HE LOVE MEEE?! issues (not that I would have minded that, hahaha... it's just nice to see them so in sync with each other), and they're focusing on a serial killer case. SO COOL.

Hahaha, YOUR ICON. I wonder what Jared and Jensen were talking about with such emotive hand gesturing. FINALE TOMORROW! *CRIES*

I know I've been totally sucked into the SGA fandom lately, but SPN can kill me with just one episode. IF I DON'T POST REACTIONS RIGHT AFTER THE FINALE, IT MEANS SOMEONE IS BUSY RESUSCITATING ME!

I am so worried about both brothers. UGHHH!!!

Dean is heading to hell, and SAM DOESN'T FEEL 100% HUMAN LATELY. Tomorrow is going to be a LONG day at work. UGH.

Sam and Dean's lives SUCK right now. I'm so worried for them, too. *wibbles* Dean is far too pretty and woobie and sensitive to go to hell. He'll be sad there. :( And OH SAMMEH. I KNOW YOU DON'T LIKE BEING NOT 100% HUMAN BUT PLZ WHIP OUT YOUR PSYCHIC MOJO AND DESTROY THINGS IN THE FINALE BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE SO SO HOT.

Also, gay love is the only thing that can save Dean. \o/ Pierce through the veil of death, Sam. PIERCE IT. SAVE YOUR BROTHER.

Oh my GOD, I LOVED FAKE back in the day and I was SO EXCITED when I heard there was more. Is more coming out? I feel like it's been such a long time I must have missed something (or just hope I've missed something). I don't think they completely finished the story going on in the foreground, so there must be more, right?

I'm torn between nervousness and excitement, I CANNOT CHOOSE!! Oh God, and you know Kripke is going to give us the mother of all cliffhangers (thank God the CW's bringing back all its shows early next season), though hopefully it'll spawn a lot of good fic for this long, SPN-less summer ahead. :P

There are only three chapters of new FAKE right now. *CRIES* More should be on the way but I'm not sure if the author is doing monthly or bi-monthly releases or what (probably monthly...). And the extras were rereleased or something. BUT YAY FAKE. I'm pleasantly surprised to see how many FAKE fans I have on the f-list. I had no clue. \o/

I'm so excited for the cliffhanger. I LOVE CLIFFHANGERS. They leave me really really excited for the premiere of the next season, which I think is one of the reasons that I wasn't AS excited about the season three premiere. BUT OMG. KRIPKE WILL SLAY US ALL.

MORE FAKE! After all these years, the author has decided to continue the series. There are only three chapters so far, but they're three REALLY GOOD chapters so I'm excited for the rest. \o/

Never read it. Because I fail. Watched the anime, though. Should read it.

The anime was good! I think I like the manga more only because there's more of it, haha.

Season three is only 16 episodes thanks to the writer's strike. D: You don't have much to go!

Most mangas are better than the anime version. If, not only, for the reason you mentioned. I will read it at some point!
